  Comments: caught one and lost one trolling a zug bug on a floating fly line. my buddy caught one spin casting while we were trolling

  Comments: We went to this lake for the weekend, and had great success fishing. My friend was using a light green willowleaf with fresh salmon eggs on it and he was getting fish off and on. I was using a white/pink flatfish with black spots, with a artificial pink maggot on the end, never tried it before but it worked great. Also were catching on a black with silver leech. The fish were mainly around 8-9inches, there was another one caught by a friend 15inches. There are big fish in the lake at about 65ft but I don't like using the ford fenders and such. Will upload photos of fish caught and released

  Comments: Wonderful lake. Very small , one small maximum 2 person dock. Camping sites and boat launch. Was steady busy there with tourists and campers and anglers the past week or so.

  Comments: Truly a disgusting city lake . A real view of what humans do to nature. Garbage everywhere , graffiti on the wood structures. As for fishing way to many ducks and geese that eventually get quite irritating not to mention the lake is non moving and there is a lot of fecal matter from ducks and such . I heard city water drains in there also. Why waste stocking trout on this scum pond?

  Comments: Very busy tourist attraction for bathroom breaks and pictures of the very nice clear water. Noisy trucks and cars going by all the time. Crayfish along the shore and Bullheads in the shallows. Seen some Rainbows jumping but they where very small.

  Comments: Fished a bunch of shore spots.. Bertram, Okanagan Mountain Park off the rocks, Poplar Point, Beach all along down town near the bridge! Lost sue good fish off the beach!

Lunkslayer - caught 11 Brook Trout (1.0 lb) using Rubberleg Stonefly, Scud Pink, Rusty Bomber, Streetwalker, Walker;
  Comments: Lots of active fish, Bit murky but lots of fish biting makes up for it! watch for thin ice around the cabin and creek! Im 300 lbs and it was fine but thins quick where the warmer water comes in!

Gabo - caught 3 Rainbow Trout (10 in) using Berkley ® Power Bait ® for Trout and Panfish, Bass Pro Shops® Egg Sinkers, Eagle Claw ® Octopus style up-eye, Bass Pro Shops ® Ball Bearing Swivel with Solid Ri;
  Comments: Surprised at how much action I got in the 3 hours I was there. Multiple bites and hook up's, landing 3 fish.

  Comments: decent fishing but not great. lots and lots of blue/green algae in this lake from august to December, stocked with triploids(7500)annually, mostly windy conditions. lots of people fishing it due to its proximity to Princeton and Summerland

informedfisherman - caught 2 Trout (13 in) using Berkley ® Power Bait ® for Trout and Panfish;
  Comments: I caught two nice trout on shrimp under a float, I also caught around 10 pike minnow as well . I had another rod set up with chartreuse colored power bait and I fished that about four feet off the bottom and managed to get a few bites but didn't real in any. There's some decent size fish in this lake from last season good luck :).

Sinyk - caught 12 Rainbow Trout (1.0 lb) using Doc Spratley Black (size 8), Doc Spratley Red (size 8), Werner Shrimp (size 8);
  Comments: Started out fishing in the small hole buried in the dead head bay and had great luck early on casting until around 9:30am. Caught 6 fish, largest was 16". Switched to trolling a #6 Red Hot Shrimp Lucky Bug and caught another 6 fish in various areas on the east, but had a lot of action just outside the bay leading to Streak Lake. Only used a fly tied to a 6lb fluorocarbon line with a split shot about 24" up.

Sinyk - caught 9 Rainbow Trout (1.0 lb) using Werner Shrimp (size 8);
  Comments: Tried a few familiar spots and a few new ones. The hole in the dead head bay only gave up one 10" fish on the far size, otherwise it was quiet. We trolled outside the entrance to the bay leading to Steak Lake and had moderate success using the #6 Red Hot Shrimp Lucky Bug. We also trolled along the grassy south size of the island to the west of the northern deep spot and had a lot of action, but watch out because there are some rocks off the point that come out of nowhere! We beached right after getting a fish on and had to work to get ourselves free. There is also a bay not far from the boat launch that we seem to get action on in the early morning but never later on.
